Make sure you are using the latest version of iOS and the latest version of Family Memories from the App Store.
If photo or video selection is not working, check iOS Settings, Privacy & Security, Photos, then confirm Family Memories has access to the items you want to use.
If reminders are not appearing, check iOS Settings, Notifications, then confirm notifications are enabled for Family Memories.
